Program Overview
Higher education (Postgraduate Degree) in Civil Engineering is paramount to opening doors that are not otherwise accessible, including research positions at corporate levels. A career at this level enables achieving satisfaction through exploration of one's own ideas and skills.
Realizing the importance of postgraduate studies, coping with new challenges of modern construction trends and the need for continuing education, Iqra National University launched the MS Program in Civil Engineering (Construction Engineering & Management, Structures and Transportation Engineering), capitalizing upon the already established state-of-the-art infrastructure for undergraduate studies at its existing campus.
Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
Graduates will apply advanced and specialized Civil Engineering knowledge to independently investigate, analyze, and design solutions for complex engineering problems using modern tools.
Graduates will demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and effective communication to manage multidisciplinary engineering projects in academic, research, and professional environments.
Graduates will engage in higher studies, professional practice, and continuous skill development while upholding ethics and contributing to sustainable development.
Program Highlights
- Specializations: Construction Engineering & Management, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering
- Plan A: 12 courses, 32 credit hours (including thesis)
- Plan B: 12 courses, 32 credit hours (coursework based)
- Minimum duration 2 years; maximum 4 years or per HEC policy

Eligibility
B.Sc in Civil Engineering (16 years of education) with minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0; valid GAT (General) by NTS with at least 50% score, or INU GAT (General) with at least 60% score.
